We are partnering with a well-established commercial lending business on the Gold Coast that is looking to appoint a proactive, organised and customer-focused Broker’s Assistant to support their commercial brokers across deal preparation, documentation, lender coordination and end-to-end settlement activities.
This role suits someone who thrives in a busy lending environment, enjoys working closely with brokers and clients, and wants to build a long-term career in commercial or asset finance.
Key Responsibilities Supporting the brokers throughout the lending lifecycle, including:
- Researching lender policies and commercial product options to identify suitable lending solutions for clients.
- Assisting brokers with loan strategy preparation and deal structuring across commercial, SME and asset finance transactions.
- Managing all documentation requirements — collecting financials, statements, compliance docs and supporting information from clients.
- Preparing and lodging loan applications through various lender systems and portals.
- Liaising with lenders, credit teams and BDMs to workshop deals, clarify requirements and progress applications toward approval.
- Tracking applications from submission through to settlement, coordinating stakeholders and resolving issues promptly.
- Providing exceptional service to clients and brokers through clear communication, attention to detail and timely follow-ups.
- 1-3 years experience in lending support, finance broking, settlements, banking operations or a similar financial services role.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
- Confidence communicating with clients, brokers, lenders and BDMs.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a genuine desire to learn the commercial lending landscape.
- A team-oriented approach and strong customer service ethic.
