TalentLink is recruiting an experienced Finance Officer for a well-established, rapidly expanding not-for-profit organisation based on Brisbane’s city fringe. The company delivers a range of specialist programs, and this new role has been created to support the growing finance team.

The Role:

As a Finance Officer, you will report directly to the Finance Manager and be responsible for high-volume accounts payable processing within a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain supplier account details and records.
  • Check supplier invoices against purchase orders, contracts, and supply agreements to validate for processing.
  • Enter supplier invoices and credit notes into the accounts payable system.
  • Address supplier account inquiries and correspondence professionally and promptly.
About You:

The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing an end-to-end Accounts Payable function and be available to start immediately.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • A qualification in Accounting, Business, or Financial Administration is desirable.
  • Quick to learn new systems and processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Creative and problem-solving mindset.

  • Blue Card (Working with Children).
  • Yellow Card or NDIS Workers Check (Department of Communities, Disabilities Services and Seniors)
  • National Crime Check.
