Position Overview:

In this newly created position, the Construction Administrator will play a pivotal role in supporting the project team by handling construction administration, cost and budget oversight, project reporting, and ensuring compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental standards. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with preparing construction budgets and entering them into software.
  • Support the project team with monthly forecasting and monitor actual costs against budget.
  • Raise purchase orders, budget transfers, and scope variations as required.
  • Process progress claims and invoices against contracts and registers.
  • Process of retentions and monthly reconciliation.
  • Liaise with vendors for new setups and credit applications, including reviewing terms and conditions with Project Manager and/or legal review.
  • Assist the project team with preparation of tender documents, costing and other ad hoc tasks.
About you:

This role requires a proactive individual with strong administrative skills and a keen eye for detail. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license.
