The Position Available: 

Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager and working as part of a close-knit team, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio in end-to-end payroll for approximately 5,500 employees.
  
Key duties will include:
  • End-to-end payroll processing across a variety of pay cycles (including weekly, fortnightly, and monthly) 5,500 employees nationally.
  • Manage employer reporting obligations including ATO Single Touch Payroll Requirements and reporting.
  • Maintain and update employee files within the payroll database and time and attendance systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service as the point of contact for payroll enquiries.
  • Lodge superannuation, PAYG tax and workers compensation obligations.
  • Ensure legislative changes to awards and statutory compliance updates are implemented.
  • Accurately monitor and record all leave (annual, personal, long service, lieu days) accrued and taken by each employee.
  • Manage the payroll system and look for opportunities of efficiency, automation and improve processes.
About you: 
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in end-to-end payroll.
  • Experience managing high-volume payroll.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Outstanding communication and the desire to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Strong attention to detail and investigation skills.
  • Passion for working as part of cohesive team.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
