The Opportunity

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Finance Officer will be responsible for the full function of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations and account processing for the corporate, construction and personal accounts.
  
Key Responsibilities include: 
  • Invoice processing (including purchase order matching and follow-up procedures).
  • Bi-Monthly and ad-hoc payment run processing.
  • New supplier setups and vendor management.
  • Bank and credit card reconciliation.
  • Cashflow forecasting and intercompany transactions.
  • QBCC reporting and WIP accounts management.
  • End of month general ledger and supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Account receivable management.
  • Proactively assist the Group Finance team with ad hoc reporting, lodgements, process improvements, or other system implementations as required.
About You  
  
As an experienced Finance Officer, you will demonstrate:
  • Experience in end-to-end accounts payable and finance administration experience.
  • Experience with electronic banking and accounting systems.
  • Property or construction background will be highly regarded.
  • Adaptable with the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
