The Position Available:
Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager and working as part of a close-knit team, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio in end-to-end payroll for approximately 5,000+ employees.
Key duties will include:
- End-to-end payroll processing across a variety of pay cycles (including weekly, fortnightly, and monthly) 5,000+ employees nationally.
- Manage employer reporting obligations including ATO Single Touch Payroll Requirements and reporting.
- Ensure legislative changes to awards and statutory compliance updates are implemented.
- Manage the payroll system and look for opportunities of efficiency, automation and improve processes.
- Contribute towards good communication within the departments by developing and maintaining a team environment which is conducive to two-way communication.
About you:
We'd love to speak to you if you have
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in end-to-end payroll.
- Experience managing high-volume payroll.
- Strong capability to learn and understand new/updated payroll processes, with the ability to train, mentor and upskill other payroll team members.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Outstanding communication and the desire to deliver exceptional customer service.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
