What You’ll Be Doing
- Drive new business acquisition across the independent travel agency landscape
- Build and leverage strong networks across travel agencies, suppliers, industry bodies and partners
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle — prospecting, pitching, negotiation, conversion and onboarding
- Partner with marketing to support lead generation, events and local market activity
- Use CRM tools (Salesforce or similar) to manage pipeline, opportunities and customer engagement
- Understand customer needs and tailor solutions that maximise value, stick rate and profitability
- Stay on top of market trends, competitor offerings and industry dynamics
- Present a clear, compelling value proposition aligned to brand standards
- Negotiate mutually beneficial commercial outcomes while protecting margin
- Support new partners through transition and early lifecycle to ensure long-term success
- Proven success in a Business Development or Sales role within the travel industry
- Strong existing relationships with independent travel agencies
- Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Solid understanding of travel agency operations and the supplier landscape
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- Confident communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, commercially astute and comfortable working autonomously
