We’re looking for a Logistics Administration Officer to join a well-established, privately owned business supporting the movement of products across Australia, New Zealand and international markets.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience across logistics administration, freight, inventory or supply chain who enjoys a busy environment, working with suppliers and freight providers, and making sure the details are right from shipment through to stock receipting.
The Opportunity Working closely with teams across Warehouse, Customer Service, Sales and Administration, you’ll play an important role in coordinating shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring stock arrives, is receipted and recorded correctly.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience across logistics administration, freight, inventory or supply chain who enjoys a busy environment, working with suppliers and freight providers, and making sure the details are right from shipment through to stock receipting.
The Opportunity Working closely with teams across Warehouse, Customer Service, Sales and Administration, you’ll play an important role in coordinating shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring stock arrives, is receipted and recorded correctly.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Coordinating and tracking domestic and international shipments
- Supporting X-Factory and supplier shipment bookings and collections
- Liaising with suppliers, freight forwarders and shipping agents
- Maintaining purchase order, shipment and delivery information in the ERP system
- Updating order summary reports and providing visibility around shipment dates and potential delays
- Processing inventory receipts and ensuring stock is accurately recorded
- Preparing shipment costing reports and supporting freight cost analysis
- Investigating stock shortages, pricing discrepancies and shipment issues
- Monitoring transit times and escalating potential supply chain risks
- Providing regular updates to internal stakeholders across Finance, Planning, Warehouse and Sales
- Supporting New Zealand shipment administration and broader logistics projects
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and make the logistics function more efficient
You’ll also bring:
- Experience coordinating domestic and/or international freight
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Experience with purchase orders, inventory and stock receipting
- ERP experience — Pronto is highly desirable
- Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- The ability to investigate discrepancies and solve problems proactively
- Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- A positive, team-focused approach with the confidence to work independently
- A current driver's licence
