The Role
As a Finance Administrator reporting to the Finance Manager, you will have key responsibilities, including:
  • Accurately entering invoices and allocating subcontractors and costs to projects.
  • Following up for approvals of invoices and claims, coordinating with project managers and contract administrators.
  • Processing weekly batch payments in line with claims payment terms and requirements.
  • Reconciling monthly supplier statements.
  • Liaising with creditors to resolve discrepancies and escalating issues as needed.
  • Supporting payroll processes from timesheet data entry and input into the payroll system.
  • Providing ad hoc support for Project Managers on budgeting forecasts, cost codes, permissions, and subcontractor access.
About You:
Due to an internal promotion this role would suit a candidate with 1-2 years of accounts experience who enjoys engaging with key customers and has a passion for learning and problem-solving.
  • General accounts and administration experience.
  • Proficiency with electronic banking and accounting systems.
  • Adaptability and strong prioritisation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • A keen eye for detail.
