The Company:  
TalentLink have been engaged to recruit for an experienced Company Accountant for a market-leading luxury Property Developer!

The role will report directly to the Financial Controller, whilst partnering closely with operational leaders, project teams and senior management.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded accountant who enjoys working in a positive team environment, state of the art office space, within a company who is rapidly expanding.

The Position:
This role will have end to end ownership of the construction portfolio.

Duties include:
  • Prepare month end financial and management reporting.
  • Preparation of cashflow forecasting.
  • Support payroll processes
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Trust reconciliation and QBCC reporting requirements.
  • Compliance - including BAS, GST, payroll tax & IAS preparation.
  • Assist with the audit process, providing supporting financial documentation.
  • Partnering with project managers senior leadership to provide financial insights and support decision making
  • Review of accounts payable and receivable and subcontractor payments. 
What We’re Looking For:
  • Degree qualified in Accounting & Finance and studying toward CA/CPA. 
  • Previous experience within residential, property, construction, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, compliance, payroll, and tax obligations.
  • Exposure to project trusts, retention trusts, or QBCC compliance.
  • Collaborative team player.
